Sometimes I wish I could live on an Apple Farm. But, usually, those are days when it is brilliantly sunny, warm and I’ve been wooed by the magic of pie, or cider donuts, or hard cider. Then, I remember that there are many cold, windy, worrisome and wearying days associated with running a large farm. A small one, though, a hobby farm with a tiny orchard, I could handle that. Carter Mountain Orchard is definitely worth a stop if you’re in the Charlottesville area in the fall!
