It has been awhile, I need to get back into the self portrait groove. I would love a studio space to play with… there is only so much empty wall space in my house and so much space to back up into. If my garage didn’t face right out onto the neighborhood, I’d put up

We have our chef back!   He was trying to sneak a snack into the cart. It didn’t take much effort, his Dada was only too happy to treat his little buddy :)

I didn’t publicize it, but we have been without a Dada for the past 2 months. He spent some time in the desert and just came home today. We’re so happy to have him back!

I didn’t pick up my camera at all on this day… so here is an extra from the following day :) He had just told me that the sun was hurting his eyes. I think he would rather have not been looking at me.

  That goldbug can be tricky to find.   Tornado warnings in the area today… all we really had was a little hail. The clouds were crazy, though.

We had a gloomy, rainy afternoon. For some reason I had a headache and so the best part of the evening was when Isaac happily helped clean up the toys before dinner. A little willing cooperation can do wonders for my mood!

In an effort to avoid the before dinner crankies we went on a quick walk and I stuck Isaac 2 feet into the field that borders the new housing development behind our neighborhood.

I let the boys really get into the sand and water table today. I figured that I try to keep their splashing under control in the tub, so it’s only fair to let them make a mess outside… where messes as supposed to be made. Grayden obviously had no problem with the water. Isaac wanted

I really need to remember to pull the camera out before dusk, one of these days!

Toys always look so quiet once the children have gone to sleep.

Yesterday we had mess, today we’re all clean. However… the bathroom is very wet. Apparently, little splashes were not on the agenda today.

I stripped them down to “nakey boys” for dinner tonight. They loved it.

This was achieved with the help of several yogurt covered cherry bribes. I do admit that they are a tasty little treat.

This is what occured during “nap” time. I was just thinking to myself earlier today how nice it was that Isaac is content to let me choose his clothes. Hmm… he sure does have an interesting aesthetic when he does do the choosing!

When we go on a walk Isaac always requests to go to “The End.” It drives me crazy that they put the sign up crooked.   I mean… really!

The little guy isn’t often content to sit and watch. Usually, he’ll spend about 2 seconds watching what his big brother is doing and then dive in and attempt the same himself. I’m pretty sure he’s going to be a kinesthetic learner :)

Didn’t get around to taking a picture during the light hours today. A trip to the airport, grocery trip after a month away from home and trying to settle the boys back into life in California ate up the day. Not to mention mowing the lawn. Not my favorite activity, but it’s gotta get done.

  Spent 11 and 1/2 hours in the car today. So glad to be home!!

    A sunny day. Yay!!

  He crawled up on that chair all by himself. And then fussed until I came to get him down. The getting down part of his adventures is proving to be his arch-nemisis. Getting up is much easier. And less injury-inducing.
