Isaac found two apples stashed in the play kitchen… they’d been there awhile.

He woke up in a good mood. We had birthday cake pancakes. A couple balloons and gifts. A good day overall for a 2 year old :)

Could not get her to leave my side :)

We had our lawn aerated… the boys were fascinated.

Big brother wanted to pose, too.

…and, breakfast.

That was the topic of conversation during this photoshoot. I told Isaac that I saw one at Costco earlier today. After we were done shooting I asked him if I really saw a purple rhinoceros. He answered “nooo” :)

Sometimes a picture seems to foreshadow a few years down the road. But it only lasts for a minute.

Messy mouthed little boy. I think he is really trying to get rid of nap time now. I’m holding out for late Spring when it’s warm enough for pool mornings. Last summer he napped so well after playing in the pool. Certainly that trick will work just as well in a few months, right?
