Jim Beam

During our Spring Break trip to Nashville and Kentucky, we stopped at the Jim Beam Distillery for a tour. Kind of a dubious activity with children, but they enjoyed it much more than I thought they would! We got to see the mash process in craft and industrial format, sampled Knob Creek straight out of the barrel, packaged and helped seal our own bottle of Knob Creek and tasted a few whiskeys as a finale. To wrap up the stop we had a BBQ lunch and some bourbon ball ice cream. If you’re ever in the area, I can recommend a visit to Jim Beam, without hesitation.

What a fun experience! I love going behind the scenes at places where things are made. If you ever get to Louisville, your family would likely love the Louisville Slugger museum & factory!
