365/365: Beginning by MeganCieloha 31 December Uncategorized I think that the first image does a better job of conveying the emotion I was wanting to communicate, but I love the gracefulness and mood of the second. So, here they both are! 11 COMMENTS Add Comment Auntie Lori 1 January Reply Awesome pics!! Lacey 1 January Reply :) Congrats on completing your 365, Megan! Misty 1 January Reply That first one is incredible! Love them both. Laurie 1 January Reply Love! karren hubrich 1 January Reply Cool. I keep wondering how you did this. Valeria 3 January Reply Love how you ended this 365. What’s next ? I decided for a 52 project, and to be honest I am already missing my photo a day, let’s see. I might start my own project with 3 photos a week (156), so I can still have a little of both sides and balance :)) Anyway, I hope you have a great year my friend. And also hope to join your next workshop. MeganCieloha 4 January Reply Thank you Valeria :) I will be keeping up with the picture a day over on the CMpro Daily Project blog, but post a little less frequently to this blog. Artistically, I’m enjoying the challenge of posting amongst the amazing group over there- it really pushes me to try to expand my creativity and further develop my voice as a photographer. But, posting to 2 blogs a day got to be too much. I’ll still post regularly to this blog (and plan to update my portfolio soon) but I won’t have the need to post daily weighing me down. I will be thrilled to have you in the next workshop!! Happy New Year! Kristin Rush 3 January Reply Congrats on finishing your 365 project! I want you to know that you’ve been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement for me this year. There were often times I felt my photos were flat and boring, and then I’d see some light and get a good shot or you’d make a comment that made my day, so thank you for helping to keep me going even when I didn’t want to at times. I’m going to take a break from the formal 365 project and concentrate on learning a little more this year…this morning I watched a video I purchased almost a year ago on Layers that I hadn’t had the time to watch because I was so busy keeping up with the 365. But even though I’m not doing another project, I still look forward to following your blog, seeing what you’re up to, watching the boys grow up and admiring your beautiful photos. MeganCieloha 4 January Reply You are a special person, Kristin. The words that you’ve written about your family over the past year have touched and inspired me numerous times. Your heart is so sensitive and compassionate and I think that as your photography continues to develop we’re going to see that even more often through your images. The growth in your work has been awesome this year and I’m excited to see what’s ahead for you! JodyM 4 January Reply Oh wow Megan, I am in love with that second image. Love the motion, I can feel the rain, and as always I bow down to your amazing use of light. What a wonderful way to end your 365. Katrina Stewart 17 January Reply Amazing images to finish your 365 with. What a fantastic year’s worth of images you produced. I’m looking forward to seeing what gems you come up with this year.
